When Dynamic Price is enabled, the Set Class button prompts for rates

 

 

The Set Class button in Starter Hut allows you to change the class of the golfer for a booking. When dynamic pricing is enabled, and you set the golfer’s class, you can select the current price dynamic price or the price at the time of booking.

 

Scenario

Dynamic pricing is set up and enabled. A golfer book online and their class is set a Public or GUEST (or something however you have it set up) so their price is $60 dollars. However, the price in Starter Hut v3 is $65 for the Public class and $45 for the Member class. This golfer who booked online is of the Member class needs to have their class changed in SH when they check-in. So, you change their class using the Set Class button, and you are prompted:
Keep the price at the time of booking OR Change the price to the current dynamic price.

 

To change the class of a golfer when dynamic price is enabled

 

A booking was made by a golfer on via online or mobile while dynamic pricing is in effect by a member who will now fall in the "Guest' dynamic group or Retail Class.

1. Go to Starter Hut. Click the Starter Hut icon or select Go to from the top-menu bar and select StarterHut v3.

2. Select the tee time the golfer booked.

3. Select the Set Class button on the right-hand side of the screen. You may have to scroll down to see it. The New Class dialog box displays.

4. Select the new class and click OK. A dialogue box displays asking if you want to “Keep the price at the time of booking” or “Change the price to the current dynamic price”.

5. Select the price you desire.

6. Select Check In. The Sales screen pulls the correct price based on your choice above.

7. Finalize the sale as you normally would.
